Privacy policy

This site collects very little. This page says what it collects, where it goes and what you can ask for.

What you send us

When you send the booking form, we receive what you fill in:

  • Your name and phone number (required)
  • Your email, if you give it
  • The date, type of event, hours, place, number of guests and your message, if you give them
  • The designs your child picked on the site, if any

We use this only to answer you and prepare for the event. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising.

The site does not store the form in a database. It is sent as a message to our team’s private Telegram channel, so that message also sits on Telegram’s systems.

What stays on your device

  • A child’s name, the date and the place on an invitation are drawn in your browser and never sent to us.
  • A photo you put into the painting toy is handled on your device and is not uploaded to the site.
  • The face and designs your child chooses are kept in your browser so they are still there next time. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes them.

Counting visits

We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they read, where they came from, what device they use and their approximate city. It sets a cookie in your browser as soon as you open the site. Its advertising features are switched off. What you type into the form and the invitation is not sent to it.

We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookie.

  • If you would rather not be counted, you can block cookies in your browser settings.
  • You can install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

Other parties

  • Cloudflare and the site’s server handle your IP address to serve pages, stop attacks and limit how often the form can be sent.
  • The site’s photos are served from Cloudflare R2.
  • The Google map loads only when you tap to open it. From then on Google receives your request.
  • When you tap Zalo, WhatsApp or Facebook you leave this site, and that platform’s policy applies.

Google’s privacy policy has more on Google Analytics and maps.

Children

The booking form is for adults. The site does not ask children to send personal information themselves.

The site shows photos of children with painted faces. If you would like a photo of your child removed, message us with the link to it.

What you can ask for

You can ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hi@facepaintingvietnam.com or messaging 0908 980 603 on Zalo.
