Why a separate corner for the children helps

Year end parties usually revolve around the programme, the food and the prize draw. Adults are fine with that, but children who tag along with their parents get bored quickly if all they do is wait. A corner of their own lets parents chat with colleagues while the kids stay in sight. The children gather in one place, so it is easier to assign people to watch them and to take photos.

Face painting suits this corner because each child only needs to sit for a short while, pick a design and then carry it around the whole party. Children can choose their design before you book, so HR can ask about favourite designs on the registration form.

Placing the painting table next to the party area

Put the table close to the party so parents can see their children, but off the main walkway and away from the entrance so the queue does not block guests. A few things to plan ahead:

• You provide 1 table and 2 chairs. If you book several artists, ask us how many more tables and chairs you will need.
• For an outdoor party, pick a shaded spot. If it rains, the table moves indoors, so choose an indoor spot at the planning stage.
• Add a few waiting chairs beside the table so children and parents are not crowding around the artist.
• Tell us before booking if a child has sensitive skin. We cannot promise every colour suits every child, so consider adding a line about it to the registration form.

Artists by the number of employees' children

The figure to plan with is an estimate: each artist paints roughly 10 to 15 faces an hour, depending on the design. A quick method: take the number of registered children, divide by 10 to 15, then divide by the number of hours the corner is open. The result is the number of artists. We send up to 5 artists for a large event.

Estimated capacity over 2 hours:

• 1 artist: about 20 to 30 faces
• 2 artists: about 40 to 60 faces
• 3 artists: about 60 to 90 faces
• 4 artists: about 80 to 120 faces
• 5 artists: about 100 to 150 faces

For example, with 60 registered children and a corner open for 2 hours, 60 divided by 10 to 15, divided by 2, gives about 2 to 3 artists. If you expect more than 100 to 150 children, 5 artists over 2 hours may not reach everyone, so you can extend the time (anything longer than 2 hours is negotiated separately) or accept that not every child will get a design. Public prices are 500,000₫ for 1 hour and 900,000₫ for 2 hours. For a team of several artists, send your event details and we will give you a specific quote. If you want a show between painting turns, our partner circus and magic team costs 800,000₫ per hour.

What to send us for a quote

The more detail you send, the more exactly we can reply. Please include:

• The party date, and the time window for the children's corner
• The district, and whether the space is indoors or outdoors
• The expected number of employees' children and their ages
• How many hours you want: 1 hour, 2 hours or longer
• Any child with sensitive skin, if you already know
• Any company requirements we should know about

FAQ: year end parties with children

How early should we ask about dates? The surest way is to message us the expected date as soon as the company confirms it, so we can check the calendar.

Do you take parties outside District 2 and District 7? Yes. District 2 and District 7 are where we take bookings from, and we take events across Vietnam.

What if it rains? The table moves indoors, so choose an indoor spot while planning.
