Count the children and their ages first

Settle these two numbers first. The simplest way is a registration form that asks staff how many children are coming and how old each one is. The headcount tells you how many artists, hours and gifts to plan. The ages tell you which stations fit.

The form is also a handy place to ask which children have sensitive skin, because we need to know before booking and cannot promise every colour suits every child, and which designs they like, because children can choose a design before you book.

The Gregorian date of Mid-Autumn changes every year. Check the calendar before fixing the day, and message us early.

Stations that fit an office lobby

A lobby is usually smaller than a school yard, so several small stations suit it better than one big stage. Options:

• Face and hand painting station: we run this. You provide 1 table and 2 chairs.
• Paper lantern making or colouring station: your team supplies the materials.
• Mooncake table and photo corner: set up by the company.
• Magic or circus act: our partner team, at 800,000₫ per hour.
• Bubble show: also a partner team. It needs more room than a painting table, so ask us if your lobby has the room.

The face painting station: how many artists

The figure to plan with is an estimate: each artist paints roughly 10 to 15 faces an hour, depending on the design. The formula: number of children, divided by 10 to 15, divided by the hours the station is open. We send up to 5 artists for a large event.

Estimated capacity for 1 hour and 2 hours:

• 1 artist: about 10 to 15 faces in 1 hour, 20 to 30 in 2 hours
• 2 artists: about 20 to 30 faces in 1 hour, 40 to 60 in 2 hours
• 3 artists: about 30 to 45 faces in 1 hour, 60 to 90 in 2 hours
• 5 artists: about 50 to 75 faces in 1 hour, 100 to 150 in 2 hours

For example, 40 registered children and a 2-hour station: 40 divided by 10 to 15, divided by 2, gives about 2 artists. Public prices are 500,000₫ for 1 hour and 900,000₫ for 2 hours. For a larger team or more than 2 hours, request a quote on our face painting quote for companies page.

An afternoon schedule for working parents

Working parents are usually free only in one window. Ask on the form which time suits best, then concentrate the painting station there. A suggested order:

• Welcome families in the lobby and hand out queue numbers for the painting station
• Open the painting station with the side stations so the queue does not pile up
• Open the mooncake table once most children have been painted
• Hold a lantern walk around the lobby or grounds
• Take a group photo at the end

If some parents arrive late, keep the station open until the end. If it rains, the station moves indoors, and outdoors you should choose a shaded spot.

What HR needs to prepare

Before the day, HR should settle the date and place, collect the children's numbers and ages, choose a spot for the painting table plus an indoor backup, and send us the details for a quote. For building rules on events in the lobby, ask the management directly, because we do not know each building's rules.

FAQ: Mid-Autumn festival for companies

Can a company outside District 2 and District 7 book? Yes. District 2 and District 7 are where we take bookings from, and we take events across Vietnam.

What about a young child with sensitive skin? Tell us before booking. We cannot promise every colour suits every child.
